I can not seem to design new ships in MOO2; am I missing something or did that feature go away? I always remembered being able to re-design ship types once i researched new technologies. I must be missing something.....

Did you make sure to turn on tactical combat when you started a new game?

Hi,
maybe you start a game without Tactical Combat?
If you don't check "Tactical Combat" the buttons for ship design are not highlighted.
