I've run down some of the topics about how to get the Master of Orion 2 thing to work, but nothing seems to be working for us.

I've tried hosting, he's tried hosting. Oddly, when he hosts, and I type in his IP address, it just says, "Wrong IP". When I host and he types in mine, he just gets failure to connect.

Could it be something with his networking? My IP is a very simple 9 digits, while his is like 30 characters long.

Sounds like problems with conflict of ipv4 and ipv6.
