I'm OCD. I need my ship's cosmetic designs to look to my taste.
I understand each player color has a different kind of ship artworks.
Is there any way to know what the ships look like with each colors?

The simplest way to do this quickly yourself is to start an advanced game and choose a different color each time and go into the design screen and you can rotate through the different artwork for each ship class. It should be noted that Doom Stars only have 1 design option.

I think Blue has some of the most basic designs. Yellow tends to be more insect like although I love at least 2 of their Battleship choices.

Six different designs for each colour and each ship size (cruiser, battleship...) except for the doomstar, as stated above.
