With the annihilation of 32-bit application support under MacOS Catalina, MOO2 for Mac is slated for inoperability. Will there be 64-bit compatibility for MOO2?
Most likely there will arrive a compatible version soonish using 64 bit DOSBox but not working for GOG, I cannot promise you with certainity.

Try now as it should be updated.
I just tried to reinstall MOO1 in Catalina and it does not work. It says the installer needs to be updated because it cannot be scanned for viruses.

“master_of_orion_classic_enUS_1_0_33010.pkg” can’t be opened because Apple cannot check it for malicious software.

Dutch:
Delete your old installer and download the new one, IF it is new.

I just installed MOO2 clean on a brand new Macbook Pro 16 running Catalina. The installer works fine and the game opens without any error messages. However, the graphics are garbled to the point that you can barely make out what's on the screen. I figured maybe it couldn't handle the retina resolutions (though it worked fine on my previous MBP under older OSs), so I tried various lower resolutions to no effect. Has anyone gotten this working yet? Thanks.
