Hello,
My game would not start today when I put the disk in. I examined the disk and found it cracked. I know a lot of people don't like this game but I've enjoyed playing it for many years.

I will be picking up the game the next time it goes on sale.

What would anyone think of me picking up a nocd crack until I can get it on sale?

Would that be illegal?
I consider this as a grey area, because I think some games sold in digital distribution stores (including GOG) might be patched with no-cd cracks. However, posting links to them is cosidered illegal, so I can't give you a link to MOO3 crack.

Although you can search for it by using Google or other search engine, you're doing it at your own risk - the crack might not work or you may find malware, which will infect your computer.

I think the best choice will be your original plan (waiting for a sale and purchasing the digital version on GOG).

You paid for & own your game, although nowadays it's considered a licence.
If the cops ever did bust down your doors, you can show proof..

That being said, in my opinion, It's best you buy it here on gog.
Not for any legal reasons, but the fact that you're getting 'the latest' version with the most compatibility with modern operating systems.. All the hard work setting up DOSBox emulation is already done for you..
Same with my disc. Years ago, too. Am pretty sure it's related to the DRM on the original release, that really accessed the DVD a lot. Especially because of that I'd really go for the NOCD crack. They just should have chosen a less rigid DRM in the first place.
