I just found a good video "tutorial" on how to play Master of Orion 2. It goes into the basics on how the game works and what to do in the beginning. I watched this before reading the manual and it helped me alot.

Love the game and think everyone who likes strategy games should at least try it.

Good video but I wish someone would do a tutorial of how to play WITHOUT Creative as the gameplay is vastly different.
Everyone and their mom knows that Creative makes it very easy since you never have any hard choices.

This. Never understand why people always use it when it is such an OP choice. Where's the fun?

Totally agree, much of the fun in this game is the choices you have to take. Love how it forces me to plan ahead and take race penaltys into consideration.

Been watching a few of these today. Thanks for the post and bringing these to my attention. Decided to finally get around to playing both MOO's and these vids are helping understand what exactly is going on lol. Really enjoying them so far!
