Hi!

I've puchased this game just today and it is awesome. However, one thing prevents me from completely enjoying this game: I can't figure ou how to embark my units in a boat. I've tried to put my units in my city, then create a boat (a trimene), select all my units + the boat and leva but only my boat leaves the port. I also tried to only click on the boat and leave, but my ground units on patrol and leave, but nothing happened.

Another thing that I noticed is that I can't bring back my boat in my city after it's created, even if there is no unit in the city.

What am I doing wrong and can you help me?

1. Have your boat move outside the city, just next to a coastline.
2. Walk the unit onto the boat.
3. That's it. Your unit has boarded. Moving the boat moves the unit with it.

If I'm not mistaken, after creation a boat cannot move onto a city, because that's land, and boats only move on water.
ZFR is correct in that a boat can't enter a land tile, so once it leaves a city it isn't coming back (some spells will create exceptions, like Flying).

ZFR also was correct about how to move units on the boat. Just keep in mind that boats can only hold so many units; you can't fit more than two units on a trireme and five or six on a galley. Heroes don't count against this limit, iirc. If your active stack is too large to fit on the boat(s), then they won't move on to it.
The problem probably came from the number of units allowed. Thank you very much to both of you!
