I just bought this game but I have had a few problems.. One is the player "going blind" or some kind of screeen tearing or something like that which didn't go away and I had to restart the game. I could try looking at the graphic settings (vsync or something) if this happens again.

The other problem, witch could get severe later in the game is that I cant shoot red magnetism when zooming!

I was just wondering if there is any pach I could download? I googled and it seems like the steam version has been pached. Does the GOG version also include some/all paches?? Do GOG games usually include paches?

In one GOG game I have a pach file that you can download separately but in this game such a file is not listed.. But steam games dont have separete pach files eighter but they still contain the paches.. So I'm not sure how this goes. At least I hope it is possible for GOG players to get the same paches as the steam players get.

(Also not a big problem but this game doesn't seem to be possible to minimize to the desktop like most games and there is no easy way to mute it (if for example someone calls you when you are playing).)

Thank you for your answers and help!

GOG usually offers all games patched to the newest official version available. When there's a separate patch for download, then GOG offers it for convenience most of the time, so people who already have the game installed, don't have to download the whole installer again. In some cases such a patch isn't included in the installer yet and you have to apply it after installation.

The game tends to run hardware hot, so this might be a heat issue.
Try this to limit frames per second:

Go to %USERPROFILE%\My Games\Magrunner\YoshiGame\Config\
Open file YoshiEngine.ini in text editor.
Locate line bSmoothFrameRate=FALSE and change it to TRUE

If it's already set to TRUE, try running the game with FALSE, but keep an eye on your hardware temperature.

Which Windows version are you using?
