Hi guys,
was playing the game and noticed a few graphical oddities.
One of them being the game having a slightly distracting/irritating window frame visible all the time as if it's not running in fullscreen.
Do someone of you happen to have a solution how to get rid of this?
Have you tried borderless fullscreen? Have a look on PCGamingWiki's Mafia page for instructions.
I only noticed this, when the game loads up a cutscene. Is it set to fullscreen in the setup.exe? There is a checkbox for that. Otherwise I would try a widescreen fix, like empiresco suggested.

First of all disable compatibility mode for "game.exe" and "setup.exe".

Next put this .dll inside the Mafia folder:

Here's my settings also if you're having problems.

Thanks Slintas!
I didn't need the .dll thou.
But the other steps worked perfectly fine!
you can leave on all compatibility options; only that file is needed

I had to turn them off on Win 10.
