Hello,

I get flickering shadows under the car in Mafia. The PCGamingWiki says that installing the widescreen fix resolves this, but I have it installed.

Any insights? Please save me from a seizure.

EDIT: enabling the "always clip" option in the setup seemed to help (but not completely resolve) the issue.

Download "3D Analyze" and install it somewhere other than the game directory.

I forget the exact steps, look them up on Google, but this resolved most of the flickering for me. And yes, the widescreen patch didn't seem to work at all (I used a CRT to play this game).

As a backup solution, you can simply go to Options -> Video and set Shadow quality to Very Low. This did it for me. It's just shadows anyway :-) and if you do this, they're no longer flickering.
