Hi, this game looks great, but I cannot save. When I return, it says that my settings and savegames are corrupted, and deletes them. I've been thrown back to the beginning twice now, and it completely wrecks the game.

I noticed some files get marked read-only, and I set all permissions, plus removed the read-only flag. Still the same problem.

Has anyone else had the same issue, or any ideas? Thanks!

I'm running Windows 10 in Bootcamp on MacBook Pro.
The only thing I can even think it would be is if you're not running the game as an administrator when you launch it. So it's not getting whatever permissions it needs to alter or create those files.

This reply is only related to your last statement, but that may be source of your problem, perhaps.
I've used bootcamp since 2006, partook in the open beta testing. I understand the desire to play PC games on your Mac, but bootcamp is very limiting to game performance. It has been a while but believe when windows is booted win processes are restricted to 4 GB total regardless of the RAM and video card vRAM that the system has. This may have changed when win10 came out b/c that is a fat OS. I stopped paying attention to bootcamp dev'm a few years ago.

What other games are you playing on the partition? Anything demanding? Are there problems with those?
And Have to ask, did you make sure your partition is big enough for all those games? :)

Anyways, since you are likely a primary MacOS user, try disabling windows UAC and as posted above run as admin, though you likely are booting into an admin account since you installed Win into bootcamp partition.

Windows 10 is an NTFS files sytem not a FAT32 system. NTFS has been around since Windows XP.
Only 32bit Windows used less than 4GB of RAM but the x64 OS versions do not have that limitation.
