Well as the title says I am new player of Max - recently got the game and have to say I am very impress with what I have seen for such an older game. Games like Imperium Galatica 2 have always interested me and Max is another great game where you get base building - exploring and conquest. Though I have yet to really play against the AI from what I hear it can play a good game when given the difficulty chance ;)
Max2 though has also less than impressed me - I will give it another try, but it just seems to lack any form of fun that the first had (and remember I only started playing the other day - so there are no rose tinted glasses here ;)). Its graphics are more advanced, but harder to view - partially as it can't be windowed and so its blown up larger than it looks best at. however gamplay and menu options just don't seem as well refined as in the original.
And now for the question - with Max it can be played in a windowed mode, but it won't let me use the windows key to move out of Max and select other applications at the same time - so is there a way to do this?
