I've noticed with the GOG version of MAX that it sticks to the 4:3 ratio on my 1920x1080 monitor and I have the black bars. But on the Steam version after a bit (it struggles to start up) the game fully occupies my window with no black bars at all. I've heard about Windows 10 having scaling issues with older games which is probably why the Graphic Mode Setup option doesn't change a whole lot to begin. I'm wondering if there's anyone that could be done to adjust that or figuring out what the Steam launcher/wrapper does that the GOG one doesn't.
