I don't know when it was implemented, but there is indeed a "Hide Game" option. It's on the bottom of the little window that opens when you click on the game in your game shelf, just to the right of the "Reviews" button.

Awesome, thanks for the info.

To those of you ridiculing us who want to hide the games. They get in the way of the games I want to play,. If I want to play one of those free games at one point, I can look at them in my hidden area, but normally I would like to just play whatever I specifically purchased, and I don't want to sift through those "FREE" ones. Don't see how that's difficult to understand for some people.

Thanks to mkell_266. And to the rest, just because you like free stuff doesnt mean we all want it. I dont want poisoned candy in with my bag. Temptress and BASS can stay but the rest have got to go.
