Did you try changing your Dosbox output to something else?

I had gotten all about this, I contacted support and they gave me a few things to try, unfortunatly it just moves the image around so I still have a large border at the top or the bottom or a small one at the top and bottom, its playable but annoying
I get a black border on all the DOSBox games I bought. I found a fix for it though, but I'm not sure if it's the same issue as yours.

To fix it, I opened the DOSBox config file in the game folder, and then found this line:

fullresolution=original

It should be near the top of it. It will say "fullresolution=original". If you delete the "original" part, and then put in "0x0" so it says "fullresolution=0x0", it will play the game full screen in your monitor with no black borders. Alternately, you can put in any resolution you wish. I use 0x0, it's perfect for my monitor size.
