I have a problem playing the Lords of the Realm 2 (from the Royal Edition) in multiplayer. I have played it multiplayer over a LAN, but have tried setting it up over the internet with one of my brothers, but can't get it to work.

I have tried just by using the built-in TCP/IP options, but couldn't get it to work. We opened up our routers and if I host he can see my session, but it won't join.

Then I tried it through gameranger - similar circumstances, except when you click on multiplayer and then choose gameranger. It brings up the box to type in the IP addres for the host, you can just hit ok to browse - I tried to just hit ok to browse, and it brings up the box where you would select the session to connect to, but none are listed.

Any suggestions? Anyone got this working?

Hello there,

I never got multiplayer to work at all (even using GameRanger) but I suspect the problem is with it's compatability with GameRanger. You may want to consider posting on the GameRanger forums.

Hope I helped in some way.
