I have to admit coming into this thread, that I'm very tired, and have not tried checking through all the previous forum posts.

However there are some general tips that you should look into:

Firstly, make sure all you drivers are up to date etc.

Next, try running as administrator (right click on the icon, and select "run as administrator").

Try installing to a location other than program files. This helps a lot of people, though I don't know why.
