Kardwill: I remember I was bitten myself once, instead of my cousin. I did put the nice creepy lumen lady in jail, so she couldn't warn me, and the cousin saved my poisoned ass in an unexpected manner (that gave some heavy hints for the endgame twist). Nice touch :).
More Spoilers Beware! I tried imprisoning her and if you have a couple trains (say about a 30) in Reflexes no one gets bit, you flip it away with a stick.
A funny aside, if you have enough Court manners and Intrigue (i think) you get to choose to "look at the women" at the dance... Choose Brin, you'll get flowers from her (keep them) and can later marry her brother, and have your father marry her... So you can spend time with her. Great twist.
Still haven't figured out the save the day with music thing though, as it never seems to be an option
Senteria: The later you get in the game the harder the game get's. I have struggled hard to live every week. Now there's a naval battle coming up and I never got to become a Lumen. I mean I would have needed 60 in Accounting. I have 0 in economy. I hate it. So I can't get into the treasury. Even if I could, I would never have enough time to learn and accumulate magic. My troops are mostly gone from wars and then this dude shows up wanting a magic contest.
I can't swim, I can't cast magic. I have no allies. And I have no space to redo steps because I barely managed to run away from an assasin, I barely managed to not eat chocolate. I barely won the war. I mean the negotiations were 'give up or we fight you'. Well that's not really an option now is it?
So yeah... I feel like I have to start the whole game over again. That's pretty harsh though.
Getting into the treasury actually relies on Presence (or at least that's one way in.. which i always use.) I can't remember exactly how but but somewhere in the 70-75 range usually does itI can't swim, I can't cast magic. I have no allies.
