Good day to all of you;

We (family and I) were enjoying playing Lilly Looking Through up until we completed the area with the stone wall around the house. Every time we complete this section and go through the door to advance to the next area the game sits there with Lilly running on the screen and the film reel spinning looking like a normal transition screen. The only problem is that this transition never ends; we even left the computer on over night one night but no luck. We have downloaded and installed the game again but we still get stuck at the same location.

Do any of you happen to have a save game just past this transition that we could get from you; or better yet, does anyone know how to get the game to work correctly through this transition point?

Thanks in advance for any and all assistance that you can provide.

Have a great day everyone!

I had the same problem, and am playing the same version as you are, on a Mac OSX machine as well.
same spot, same issue.
Gog was unable to resolve the issue, and forwarded me to the developer, and the developer
made a report of it, and promised to look into it. I recommend letting the developer know,
so the issue can be tracked down. i did not ask for my money back from gog, but i bet you could get yours
back if you really wanted to.
some of the things we tried (gog support and developer support, and I tried) were, changing
the detail level that is in the options, there are multiple levels that it can be set to.
things we did not try, were not able to try...
running it on a different mac, (i have version 10.9) because the developer said it might be an issue
with the particular chip set on the kind of mac i'm using, that would require a specific code fix for just
that chipset
and was not able to try to run it on a case insensitive partition ( i sometimes use unix and so require
that my hard drive partition be case sensitive, which causes all sorts of issues with windows based games)
we might have tried a few more things but i cannot remember.
really great game though, i loved it, im willing to wait until i get a different computer that will dual
boot with windows, to complete the game

That is hilarious. When I run into problems with a game one of the first things I always do is check if the problem is caused by the drive being case sensitive (I have a small partition on my hard drive setup for playing games that require a case insensitive drive structure). I say "hilarious" because I obviously never checked that with this game. Moving the game to my case insensitive drive just allowed me to get past this point.

Thank you very much rub321. I was going to install the game in Parallels to finish it if I did not find a solution soon.

Have a fabulous day everyone!

glad i was able to jog your memory, and that one of the things i suggested could have been
causing the problem, really was the problem. i would give it a try myself, but i don't think
my partition can be resized. well now it is documented that this stoping point in the game
can be traced to the game being played on a case sensitive partition.
