When you think cyberpunk, do you just see neon lights and cybernetics?
Cyberpunk has a rich history of fiction about mass surveillance and control via technology that's... already here. The "high tech, low life" fiction of the 20th century is becoming the reality of the 21st.
So that snazzy outrun aesthetic that we associate with cyberpunk nowadays is certainly one way to do it and keep cyberpunk sci-fi — but it's not the only way to go!
In Liberated, we give you a different kind of cyberpunk:
A noir cyberpunk.
A grounded cyberpunk.
A look out your window for pete's sake cyberpunk!
