Hi all,


We've uploaded a small patch to your account that will allow you to switch between the supported languages easily. Please download the "Language selection fix" patch whenever you can so that you can switch languages :)

Judas, what took you so long? ;)

Yesterday I was asking here if the game really has no German text which has now been added to the gamecard. Another user told me that he would like to switch languages but cannot. Now both problems are solved and I never needed to write those posts in the first place. Just waiting for GOG to fix everything is enough :)

Thank you - now I can (and will) buy the game.

I've had to manually start the language setup tool as administrator (right-click the start menu entry and "run as administrator"). Without this the tool didn't work for me.

I am not 100% sure but I *think* it's supposed to be that way. I've passed your observation on to the relevant folks here, however :)

JudasIscariot: I am not 100% sure but I *think* it's supposed to be that way. I've passed your observation on to the relevant folks here, however :)
I don't think it's supposed to work that way. If you just start the setup tool by left clicking on it, it opens up, you can select a new language and then hit the "save and exit" button. When you open the tool again, the language you've selected last is still selected, but the actual language in the game doesn't change at all.

The tool should just pop up a UAC dialog and ask for admin rights if you left click it. It can't work without and having to manually start it as admin is not intuitive since the tool seems to work without this step, but actually doesn't.

Just wanted to confirm that exactly the same happened to me, No UAC warning and it ignored the language I chose I chose unless I ran it as administrator.
