Dying doesn't bother that much, but if you get permanently stuck and don't even know it, that's what annoys me.

Yes if i'm not wrong it's possible to get stuck destroyng litterally some vital object.

Even if you throw an item in a well or something, it'll just randomly appear elsewhere in the game. However, it is still very much possible to get stuck on the final island if you haven't brough the required items with you and you don't have an extra potion to get back to the mainland.

Most people get stuck in the first game because they ate all the apples, so don't!

Yes it is possible to get stuck. If you don't bring key items to the island at the end of the game, you will get stuck.

anyway: i've had two instances of getting stuck in the first game. luckily i'm an 'often-saving' kind of guy, so i could just load a save-game from a few minutes ago.

haha :-) i'm pretty sure apples keep spawning, actually.. the problem is that there are a lot of areas they can potentially spawn in, and only a limited amount (probably just one) can spawn at a time. it's not possible to go back, even with a potion.
and i'm pretty sure not every item can re-spawn. i would think twice before throwing an 'uncommon' item into the well.

I didn't follow the formula correctly, so I got my ingridients wasted, not to mention a crocodile, that eats anything you give to him. You can find wasted items again (if they are important to progress), but it feels like a busy work.

What a bitchy move from the gamedesigner. It made me afraid to use items on anything and experiment. And sometimes character dies if put in peril and sometimes not. You start a game and Zanthia twists the tongue of a giant monster in a knot, but later she might be eaten by the crocodile (if the official guide book doesn't lie) or get drowned in a bog !

You should be super watchful during potion brewing.

yeah dont eat the bloody apples................. I used one for the potion and ate the other because he kept complaining of hunger and I thought hey... maybe one of the deaths in this game is hunger.

Ive spent a few hours backtracking even searching every inch of the caves and went back to the tree house and........zero apples, absolutly no apples
