Sorry, but I'm not buying these games and the only reason is the ridiculous EULA. Shame on EA for pulling that shit.

it's just a generic EULA that they copied and pasted from Origin's, honestly if you read their ELUA you would see that it also mentions requiring Origin and so on.

Also keep in mind that whole "wave your rights to sue us/take us to court" only flies currently in the United States, you are from Canada correct? then no matter what the ELUA states they have to abide by the laws of your country for example in various parts of Europe EA, Valve and such can say that all they want but people can still drag their asses into court since the laws in most countries there prevent you from signing your rights away.
