I have an issue exactly as one reviewer had also mentioned. Upon 1st entering the dungeon itself, my screen is absolutely black except the UI menus, table, etc are fine. I can see the bright light from torches on the walls. If I look in a particular direction, I can also see a small gaseous cloud of some sort. I enabled the automap, so it shows me moving about a few steps here and there, but all in virtual blackness. I watched the first few seconds of a YouTube walkthrough in case this was intentional, but the walkthrough showed a dimly lit, yet still very detailed set of walls, floor, extraneous features, etc.

Does anyone know if I may need to enable/disable something or otherwise? Please note that I am very technically disinclined, and will need a fairly layman type explanation.

This is now edited, as the topic was already covered in the Drakrochma posting titled at beginning...'stuck.... I used the solution for ATI cards as outlined by Bluecoll, and it worked fantastic. Thanks to Drakrochma for pointing out the problem first, and to Bluecoll for his informative solution (coincidentally I noticed his solving another person's problem on a different problem post altogether...incredibly helpful player). Enjoy the game experience all.

I too have this problem using a RX480 graphics card. The only way I could get the game to display properly is to reduce the Rendering Quality setting to low. Only just loaded this game up after all this time so apologies for the late reply. :0
EDIT: Turning off forced forced anti-aliasing in driver settings fixed it, thanks GOG support!
