In a previous thread, I made a promise that I would be the GOG speed daemon for Grimrock, and now that I have finished it, I would be interested in knowing exactly how well my time stacks up to everyone else's.
So to you who did not use a walkthrough or any other form of cheat, what was your finish time?
Mine was 8h 24min.

Mine was 13.5 hours over 1.5 days. And I loved every second of it.
My last save (during the final combat) states 15 hours and 32 minutes of gameplay. The second playthrough seems to be going a lot faster, though.
12 hours and everybody on level 13. This game is awesome but tough as hell sometimes.
I loved every second of it!
My second playthrough is gonna be slower... I want to find as many secrets as possible :-)

15.5 hours, Normal skill level with 57/71 secrets. (10/10 Iron Doors, all of the notes, 4/7 Treasures. All characters level 13.)
After 8.35 hours im at level 6, and the game starts to remind me Chaos strikes back more then Dungeon Master for the difficulty level.
23h

How is everyone so quick (or how am I so slow?)

I guess I did do a lot of backtracking and treasure hunting. I also had heaps of trouble with the Pillared Hallway D:

Took me just under 8 hours but I missed a lot of secrets
18 hours the first go (it claims). I must have left it running a bit. Missed the 7th treasure but found everything else.

11 hours the second, 71/71 secrets, unlocked Toorum mode and found that 7th treasure.

NB: normal difficulty.
1st completion 14:39 plus add 1-2 hours for deaths and restarts. No walkthrough.

30/71 secrets
1/7 treasures
9/16 notes
5/10 doors

Not sure how you can beat the game in under 15hours and get all the secrets on the first run through without a walkthough.

I really enjoyed the game, but it was also probably the easiest crawler of its type I have played.
Coming up on 20 hours and I'm still probably about halfway finished. I started over once though because I didn't like the standard party and I spent my points all funny.

I'll probably sink 30-40 hours into this game before I finally complete it, but I have a weird way of playing games and have been known to turn back right at the final boss door and meander all over first.
It took me 25 hours mapping by hand, with item descriptions and damage messages turned off. I did lots of backtracking to solve puzzles and flesh out my maps more. Then I spent several hours at work transferring my maps from paper to Excel. They look rather swell if I do say so myself.
8 hours on my second run.
My first run was 13:21, but I didn't find all secrets:

51/71 secrets
4/7 treasures
15/16 notes
9/10 doors

Next run will be to get everything, and I should be able to do fighters challenge then after the patch, because door did not open before :-)
