Billy_Ruben: my personal copy of BO1 worked on my previous windows 10 laptop, but i got a desktop 2 days ago and now NONE of the LoK games work. the other 4 are through steam, and i haven't a clue how to even go about finding solutions, but at least with Blood Omen there *are* available solutions, i just have to find them.

tl;dr kain vs win10, kain loses somehow
Fortunately there are patches to make LOK1 work fine without the need to throttle CPU speed. Game works fine when I tried it few days ago.
Despite the legal nightmare, I hope so. Seeing Diablo and Hellfire certainly suprised me, so I suppose anything's possible.
There is no legal problems for Diablo: Hellfire and for LoK Bo1. Rights for both Diablo belong to Activisiion-Blizzard, rights to all LoK belong to Suare Enix (Europe).
*LoK - always. Diablo - long story, but Vivendi have right even before merge Activision-Blizzard (blizz's never be independent developers).
Yeah, good point. Seems like a little extra change re-releasing Blood Omen: Legacy of Kain would be ok.
