Has anyone gotten a gamepad to work well with SR? I have a logitech dual action USB and configuring it so far has been a B.

I think I have an Xpadder profile for it at home. When I'm done work I'll take a look, and post it. If I do have one, it will be for the X360 Pad, and I think I mapped it to the default keys, but following the PS2 setup (only manual I had at the time).

SR1 has always had problems with analogue gamepads. Old/simple ones (with D-pad only) should work fine. The problem is that the left analogue is treated like a throttle so it makes Raziel run in circles. I managed to get my Logitech Rumble Pad 2 to work by making a profile, but in the end I just used the keyboard.

I'm using an Xbox 360 wireless controller, and the game can't be played with it. It's very confusing, most of the buttons don't work, and Raziel run on its own non-stop... :(

I'll be using Xpadder for this one, but once I have some free time, I'll setup my controller with it.

If you manage to get your x360 pad working,, could you please post the xpadder profile online? i'm quite bad at this, and failed to set it up :(

Which version of xpadder did you make this with? I am getting errors that my version is to old to open it with.

This is my profile (enhanced version). Made for Xbox 360 controllers. If you're getting errors when loading, maybe is because of the background image I use, or the profile for my controllers. Just in case, I did upload those files also:

Anyway, first things first, if you can load it:

- In the Soul Reaver main menu, change "Control", from "Gamepad" to "Keyboard".
- The Keyboard configuration must be the one by default. Reset the keys if needed.

You can control Raziel with the Left Stick or with the D-Pad.
Jump/Swim: A
Devour Soul: B
Aim/Grapple: Y
Action: X
Crouch: LB
Sneak/Face Enemy: Left Trigger
Zoom: Right Trigger pressed, then move with the Left Stick or with the D-Pad.
Pan Left & Pan Right: Move Right Stick left or right.
Glyph Menu/[Enter key]: Back
Options Menu/[Esc key]: Start

I'm very satisfied with the profile and the game plays perfect. Let's hope it can help somebody.

Just to say - I am in the UK and I downloaded all these files from File Factory just fine :)

Would using a 360 gamepad with XBCD work? Every game I've tried that has gamepad support, but not directly for the 360 gamepad, works just fine with it.
