Due to recent deal between Square Enix and Microsoft was disabling purchase of Legacy of Kain games on Steam, with incoming update news.

Maybe we get remake? Remaster? Who knows...

They will probably update the game so it won't have any trouble working on modern hardware. I wonder however whether the patch will be available on GOG, because the history shows that this might not be the case. For example, classic Doom games have been updated on Steam, but not on GOG.
