Have the latest drivers from Nvidia, and windows 10 64 bit with all the updates.

The moment I try to start a game, the video driver stops responding and recovers, but by then the game has already crashed because of the video drivers not responding.

Any idea how to fix this?
My version of Lands of Lore is not working in Windows 10, either. The game sound stutters after booting up so bad it is unplayable. Does anyone have a solution?

No problems here with Win10x64 version 1511. Both games running fine.

Attached are my dosbox.conf files for both games, appropriately marked (simply remove the ".jpg" extension to view them.) Please note that I use dosbox svn-daum, available here:

I'm running the latest Catalyst drivers, and an R9 380 4GB. For Lol2 I use Glide acceleration courtesy of nGlide 1.04.

Try ScummVm. It should be able to run LOL1.

Sure: Install the game, that's it.

It's a DOSBox game. Why shouldn't it work? It runs fine on my Win10.

If it doesn't work for you, try downloading the installer again and installing it anew.
What if you start DOSBox as administrator?
