New to the forums, don't see any spoiler tags.

This is the trickiest AND most XP rewarding area of the game. As far as secrets go and at least two not mentioned in any of the walk through guides. The only one which might have it is the Unauthorized version, but don't own it so can't check it.

The biggest is when you get to the bunk room (about 8 beds) there is a secret door on the right wall just as you walk in. It's been so long, can't recall how to get it open exactly so I'm posting here in case anyone remembers or figures it out. Iirc it can only be open by extremely creative camera positioning from the previous hall way, with the slot. On the map it's directly across from, where I mentioned the door actually is located.

Imo one of the biggest mistakes people make is exiting the Dark Halls as quickly as possible to escape the ghosts. There are at least 5 to 6 (maybe 10) levels to be gain, just in this room! ;)

Hard save before you get started but after you get the Amulet inside the secret room, just before the Ghost room. Iirc you can pull them one or two at a time and with the necklace they can't drain you. Once you get them all killed (it will take awhile, then make sure you try to open ALL the windows for a big XP bonus before exiting. So save the Explosive boxes or you might be able to open the windows with a Fireball too.

Iirc you have a choice to save Rex or fight him, if you kill him you get his staff. Anyone remember what happens/benefit if we save Rex?

I am trying now. The OP isn't clear exactly where I should look, but after 30 minutes Im ready to say I quit on the Bunk room secret, if it is indeed available.
