Got the Game, install was fine, intors and stuff worked, Mainmenu was okay to.
But, after creating a new SP game, when i select a mission, it switches to the KKND 2 Logo and then crashes with an error message.
I've run the June 2010 Runtime package, didnt change a thing, Ive also run it in compatibility for win 95/98 and switched of desktop and visual designs.
(Run it on Win 7 64bit...)

Hope u guys can help, I for one have tried any suggested solution from the community here, without success, though has anyone ever run it in an emulated Windows 95 or so, from VirtualPC or such maybe?

Thanks in advance folks
Have you ran the configuration tool for the game from the Start menu? If you go to your Start menu, then the GOG.com folder, then KKND2, you should see a configuration utility for the game. Run that, set your game how you want it to be, and then use the Start menu shortcut to fire up the game.

If none of that helps, please send the error message along with your Dx Diag to our Support department. Thanks :D

The Config isnt exactly a "Config" now is it? I didnt change any of the values, like number of bullets, cows etc. also the resolution with 1024x768 is standard/default.
The Error Message I get is in german, since my PC runs in german, but its your normal "Program cant be run properly due to an error and is canceled. You will be contacted when a solution is found (?)" kind of Error Message...
And what is a DxDiag and where can I find it to send it to you?

Go to your Start menu. Type "dxdiag" (without the " " ) and you'll be greeted with a DirectX Diagnostic Tool. Hit the Run 64-bit DxDiag, then hit Save All Information. What you'll be saving is a text file and that is your DxDiag :D

All it does is collect the necessary hardware and software info that helps out a lot when diagnosing problems with a game. Hope that helps.

OK, after getting redirected whenever clicking the "Technical Issues with games" option, I just used the Misc option and sent the DxDiag to you, although for some reason it didnt accept Textpad nor OpenOffice Text as uploadabe files o.O
So I just copied it inside of the textmessage, I dunno.
Hope its useful...
Was wondering, has anybody ever tested KKND2 wtith Virtual PC? Be it Community or Support folks, I'd love to know. Who knows, would be awesome if it actually worked.
Feel like I've thrown away my money for a disfunct game -.-

The game works on a Windows 98 emulator on Virtual PC. It takes some effort to get it working and I forgot how. I once found a guide for it but lost it.
So...
I tried all the advice Support sent me per Email, after i sent them the DxDiag.
Renamed the fmv folder, didnt change the CTD whenever choosing a mission.
Running it as admin and in compatability mode (no matter which) doesnt help either.
The june 2010 dx pack is installed, correctly, but didnt do anything.
I'll try out the Virtual PC thing, who knows...
Will let you guys know if it works...
please do, I've been having the exact same problem you do and nothing I've tried has actually worked
