I'm not sure if if is an update from the same person, however I noticed that things that were on Patch's todo list were done on this version. I also tested accuracy with hardware, and this one is nearly spot on. Enjoy!

I can say that the new one has more bass, but I prefer the older one a little more. But both of them are good IMO, it is up to personal preference.
I just wanted to say THANK YOU for this guide. I was unaware of the GM patching and it sounds great. It took a sec to migrate it to Linux, but it worked out fine!
Some of you who are using the CD music may have noticed that one of the tracks has scratches and skips and crackling in it. I went ahead and dug up my CD and pulled it off myself.

Copy to Drive:\Whatever\Betrayal at Krondor\music and overwrite

If anyone from GOG sees this and feels like fixing the installer to include this track, be my guest.

One of the links on the vogons forum is dead, naturally the external one:
"Port of NewRisingSun's Betrayal at Krondor GM+PCM hacks to floppy and CD v1.02 (tikalat):

specifically the external link in this post :
http://www.vogons.org/viewtopic.php?p=269789#p269789

Anyone have a backup of that (or the whole thing really.

edit : never mind. The post was edited and now he has a multi-exe patcher. Therefore you only need the new rising sun stuff, DON'T overwrite the exe, make sure it's not read only (my mistake) and unzip the patcher zip and run it.

Sadly it appears the link is dead again :(
I don't suppose anyone saved a copy?
Here's a link to a google drive folder with all the files mentioned in the second step of the guide. There's also the patch93's SC-55 soundfont v2.2 in the .sf2 format
https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/0B6NeFO1uXXkwZXVneFZ2emtCUlU?resourcekey=0-z5MaBTLy1hFqpUQqO-MXkw&usp=sharing

Edit: added the Merlin Vienna soundfont, also in .sf2 format
Edit2: Updated the link
