I was playing, my connection dropped and the game just shut down, wiping away some progress, but more importantly wtf is this shit?! Is this some always on nonsense on the no drm platform?!

I was able to reporduce it by opening the game, alt-tabbing, turning off wi-fi. Go back into the game and a couple of seconds later it shut itself down again.

Is this a bug or intended? Or to put it another way, am I getting a fix or a refund?

Upon further investigation, it seems to be related to the sign-in thing. for achievements and mp. When I start the game offline or sign out prior to going offline, the game doesn't shut down.

First, why is this faux sign-in necessary in the first place? Secondly, what kind of a solution is it to just force shut dwon the game when connection is interrupted while signed in? How hard is it to display a notification that you're offline and achievements are disabled? I've never seen something like this before...

So, fix?

Even if you click on "Continue Offline", it still tries to connect to THQNO server 2 times per second while offline. See Pic.
Is there a startup command to stop it from trying to connect while offline?
