When I logged in today, I found an update notification for "Knights and Merchants" waiting for me.

And while I downloaded the file, I noticed that, under the "Extras" section, I once could download one file more, than are available now.

Instead of only:
- Manual
- OST (mp3) and
- In-game-soundtrack (mp3)

which are still available for download from my shelf, I also have another file, named "OST (flac)", sitting in my download folder.

So, I assume that the FLAC version of the OST has been removed at some time.

EDIT:

Ok, so I was made aware by user "Cavalary" in this thread (https://www.gog.com/forum/general/the_what_did_just_break_thread_20/post2855), that the FLAC version of the OST was apparently only available for four days (July 4th - July 7th, 2014).

And I was lucky enough to download it within those four days (on July, 5th 2014, to be precise).

The change in build details is pretty damn inscrutable. GOGdb doesn't reveal anything telling, but it's clear we both missed several updates due to missing blinkenlights.

Also, when did this get here?

Yup. On July 25th, 2023: https://www.gog.com/forum/general/release_knights_and_merchants_digital_deluxe_4d5f0
Well, happy birthday to me that we got some backported content from 2018.
