It doesn't work in CrossOver 16.5 but it does work on wine 2.16 staging. I didn't have to install anything extra either, just a plain Windows XP 32 bit prefix.

Yeah, the game seems to need DirectX 11 features lacking from regular builds. I didn't have much luck on macOS 10.12 and WineSkin, but once I installed 2.17 staging it worked great. I also added an entry to WineHQ.

Sorry to be necro'ing this post after 1 year, but I've just purchased the game and it's not working for me.

I have the latest versions of Manjaro and Wine, but I get a couple of runtime errors during install and a black screen when trying to run it.

Could it be lack of Windows components, perhaps?

I appreciate any suggestions.
