Just bought the game, but it seems to crash on the loading screen.

The last message to appear is the resolution info and then there's an invisible Windows notification that the programm has stopped working.

Running as administrator does not help.....

***edit: It's the same error the steam user "Ziltoid Le Muet" experiences.

D4rkwolf: also are you running as administrator?
Guess I already answered that...

D4rkwolf: What are your system specs?
Generally system specs:
Windows 7 64bit, 8GB
AMD A10 CPU
dedicated AMD HD7700 Series GPU
All drivers up-to date (as far as I can tell)

Delete the folder and re-install the game;

I'm running it on an A4 and it's working smoothly...

after re-installing check the harddrive with a defrag just to make sure.

afterwards Run as Administrator

Let me know what happens after that

Defrag won't do shit on an ssd. ;-)

Did this after consulting with the gog.com support center:

1) Please make sure that you use "Run as Administrator" to install and to start the game (right-click on the shortcut or setup file and select "Run as Administrator").
=> program installed & run as admin

2) Please reinstall the game AND add it to your anti-virus/firewall software's exception/trusted list. Simply disabling firewall or AV software could not be enough, since some of these software are running still in background or in services list. If you are using Galaxy, then please add Galaxy as well.
=> the whole games directory (kingsway included) was already added to the exception/trusted list

3) Please download and install DirectX Web Installer:
https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?displaylang=en&id=35
=> the DirectX Web Installer reports that the same or newer version is already installed

4) Please update your graphics device drivers (please use stable drivers, because we are unable to support beta drivers, do not use auto-detect tool):
http://support.amd.com/en-us/download
=> did a "clean" (according to the setup) radeon install with the latest driver (17.7.1)

5) Maybe you have some settings forced on your graphics device in Radeon Settings. If so then try to reset them:
I) Right-click on your desktop and select Radeon Settings.
II) Select Preferences -> Restore Factory Defaults.
=> restored the factory default in the radeon settings

Does not change anything, still crashes on launch.
At the moment I actually consider taking the offered "money back" option, because the game unplayable.

I'd take the money back if it's offered and pick it up later then; I'm not sure at all why it's not working for you at this point since I'm not a Dev for the game. It's odd that it's not running for you though.

yeah, I converted my purchase. But that game is burned. Not going to buy it again.
Same issue here, after starting a new game, monologe suddenly stops, i can hear my character moving around when i am using my keys but i will keep seing the loading screen
Today I purchased the game and got same issue on Gorogoa, guys.

But, after fewer hours of investigation, I solved the problem by downloading and installing
latest Mono framework. Google it "mono windows"

I run Win 10 64 bit with latest updates

Now Gorogoa running perfectly on my PC

Thank you!!

Download Mono 64-bit (no GTK#)

from mono-project.com (current version is: 5.20.1 Stable (5.20.1.19))

Thanks again.

I'm having the same load problem. I downloaded the program but have no idea how to use it. Would someone mind explaining how to use this to try and fix the load issue on House Flipper?
Just to say it hung on the loading screen of my new Windows 10 PC, though it worked fine on the previous one. Installing Mono fixed it.
Just had this problem with the epic store version(free yay), a lot of people have this problem and you guys had it figured out ages ago

just installed mono and it works perfectly

thank you very much GOG community
