anyone else having trouble with getting the correct skull from the hall of respite? Based on in-game clues and googling, the correct skull to take is 3rd one down, 7th from the left in the left hand cabinet. I've done it over and over and it's always 'this does not fit right' when i try to place if on the statue in the hall of war.
I've tried a few other skulls but there are 60! i can't do them all. I'm pretty sure it's 3rd down, 7th from left.
anyone else have this issue?

i can't even get the hall teleporters to open....

I could be wrong but I recall something vague (the boat man telling you a clue that does not make much sense until you find one of the small pillars with inscriptions on them, basically he says two words in the sentence and the pillar gives numbers for those words, "completion" and "creation" according to google), however the hall of respite is, I think, optionnal.

Sorry I cannot be of much more help, it's been years since I've played it (and I did not play it in english, I recall that "completion" would be "parachève" in french for anyone stumbling across this with a french physical copy that works).

EDIT: That is weird, upon trying this again on my current save (which is also in the dimension of death), "judge the skulls on the left" (left cabinet), down creation (so the lowest one), completion (7 being the number of completion) seems to be right... something is weird there..

I posted a screenshot of which skull I tried but my guess is we tried the same so I do not know
