I'm having a strange problem with King's Quest 6. When I go to the Isle of the Beast, the Dangling Participle should be hanging from a branch of a tree in the very first screen of the island...but he's not there. No matter how many times I go, he isn't there.

I have played King's Quest 6 from the original release, and I've played it from the anthology...but this bug never existed for me. Does anyone know how I can fix this?

If I don't fix it, I can't finish the game since I need the dangling participle to get the spell book (eventually). At least, I can't finish it with the happy ending.

EDIT: Never mind. Got help from elsewhere. Did all the other triggers but forgot about the book on the counter. :)
