Nope, the first KB is still not here.
Now the question is, when will the GOG version of "Warriors Of The North" get updated? The Steam version just got a fresh update for the "Fire And Ice" expansion (it's up to 1.3 now), so I'm hoping GOG will get it as well.

Yes, this is my question as well. I wish GOG would make it clearer which version they have, and when they get updated. I was going to get this on Steam (already played the original WOTN when it came out), but if it can be confirmed they have the new 1.3 version (released yesterday??), I'll get it here instead!
I can't offer an official answer, but since this bundle sale went up at about the same time as the update on Steam, the devs have probably sent the new version of WotN over to GoG for testing/upload, in which case it'll be a day or two for it to go live.

Probably about a month plus/minus one week. I asked developers will gog version receive an update, and they answered yes, but later than steam-version.

Thanks for checking :) +1

It's a shame though that steam always gets the better treatment from (the majority) of devs regarding patches, etc.

It is a shame, b/c I don't want to wait a month to play it, which means I'll probably get it on Steam.

Also, the splash page doesn't show which version GOG has. How would we know (besides random forum checking) that the 1.3 even arrived here?

Another black mark against GOG is the way they do their updates :( Not for them simply putting the version number on the download page for easy viewing, no, like you say you have to go to a separate forum thread and hope that they've thought to log it there. Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't. Anyway, the thread you should check is http://www.gog.com/forum/general/the_what_did_just_update_thread Not ideal but better than nothing I suppose.
If memory serves, the game shows its version number on the title screen. When you start it with the Fire And Ice expansion, it should be there... in theory at least.

Right, but then I'd already have purchased and installed it, w/out knowing ahead of time whether it was even the latest version. Since there were some significant (?) bug fixes and tweaks in 1.3, that's what I'd want to be assured I was getting...
its version 1.3.1 (build 6263) on gog.

That's the version number of Warriors of the North though. The expansion Fire and Ice (which Steam has recently updated to 1.3) is still at 1.2.1.
Steam just updated today to 1.3.1, fyi. I'm playing it there, needless to say...
