I have reached dwarven lands, after initial chat with first dwarf I'm unable to talk to anyone. I have tried reinstalling game but it still doesn't work. Clicking on character or building does nothing. Did someone have similar problem and solved it somehow?

It's been a little while since I actually played, but don't you get a quest to kill some monsters that are bothering him? Have you done that yet? It may be that until you do, most of Kordar remains locked.

Other than that, i have no idea. I'll google it and see if anyone has an answer that looks like it might help you.

Are you in Upper Hadar? If so, it is a known bug but the solution can be found here - http://www.gog.com/support/kings_bounty_the_legend/upper_hadar_location_impossible_to_talk_to_npcs

Hope this helps :)

I'm glad it worked - enjoy the game :)
Could you either post a new, working link or spell out what the solution is? I'm having the same problem, and the link above no longer works (it just goes to GoG's general support page).

The new link is here;
https://support.gog.com/hc/en-us

Just search for King's Bounty: The Legend and the troubleshooting page will open. The second link down entitled 'Known solutions to game issues" has the info and the file you need.
Thanks!

Unfortunately that doesn't seem to be the only game-breaking bug in that area... I got attacked in the middle of charging Lina and when the battle starts, I get an hourglass forever with no way to actually interact with anything. I had no choice but to load my most recent save and restart.
Thanks for the info but how pathetic this was never fixed.

I downloaded the supposed GOG fix, but the executable appears broken as it WILL NOT RUN on my Windows 7 machine. The downloaded 'older executable' kb.exe is only 2.2mb after being unzipped, and the original one in the install folder is 12.6mb, about 6 times larger.

SO:

From these forums and lots of googling, I came across THIS FIX which DOES work for me:

LOOK AT POST 21 on this page:

forum.1cpublishing.eu/showthread.php?t=5623&page=3

I wish GOG would fix this!!!!!

Regards
Worked for me too, i suggest to use this solution instead of replacing the executable.

Edit:
It's better to use the executable :D
