Hi, I was wondering if anyone could help me out. I've tried to install and reinstall King's Bounty: Crossworlds GOTY as administrator. I've also tried to reinstall the recommended DirectX 9 as well as try to run the game with compatibility mode and at low resolutions, but I still seem to get the same error and can't start my game. I am using a Windows 7 64-bit OS. The error I receive is:

Call stack functions:
C:\Windows\system32\igdumd32.dll
C:\Windows\system32\d3d9.dll
(the above one is repeated 9 times)
C:\GOG Games\King's Bounty Crossworlds GOTY\kb.exe
C:\Windows\system32\DINPUT8.dll
C:\Windows\system32\DINPUT8.dll
C:\Windows\syswow64\RPCRT4.dll

I've attached the exact error message as a jpg to this post.

Any help would be appreciated as I would like to play this game. Thanks in advance.

I was able to fix this by changing the following parameter in my game.ini file:

To run the game on a two displays, set “1” in the game configuration file “game.ini” for option
setf ~r_use_adapter 0

It looks like I can start the game, but I have a freezing problem now. I can't get past the intro movie.
