I'm looking to buy this game before the sale ends, but so far I've heard very conflicting answers about this subject.
I don't care about a soundtrack release, I just want to know if while playing this game, will I have those instrumental backing tracks or will it be nothing but dead silence and sound effects?
Apparently the Steam version has literally NO MUSIC in the game at all, and I was hoping that GOG would have at least the background music.

Hi,
I just installed the game. I'm right at the begining of the game, where i just got beat up by two thugs, and i definitely have background music.
Edit: The background music i'm getting at this point it's the one used on this video.

No problem. Have fun :)
The soundtrack is a little much-- there's no way to turn it down and it persists through important cutscenes and such so you might miss some important info. Be prepared.
