I bought the original Kingdom Rush after I played Frontiers in flash browser form. Now I'm thinking about getting it but read the game lacks features - heroes roster and additional campaigns - and am starting to think twice about putting my money forward,

Are there any previews for updating the game or is the present version the final one?

The GOG version has all the 16 heroes and 22 stages. The only features missing, as far as I know, are cloud saves and the endless mode.

I was reading the game reviews on the store front and it stated there the game still lacked those features and was waiting on an update.

If the case is as you state, then I think I'm going to get it.
