when you enter a dwelling by accident(escpecially an area where you climb down ladders) and someone warns you to "Please leave" you are unable to, as the NPC is stuck on the ladder or door and eventually turns hostile.Iif he warns you, would not it be becasue he WANTS you to leave. well you can't! he's in the way! Also I point out, that not always do you truely know if a place is a "forbbidden area", therefore at least get the NPC to make way for you to leave after snapping a verbal warning, so you may exit via ladder, door, or passage off the docks, ect.

Not sure about the ladders, but npc's usually disappear for a second if you run into them, so you can get past, and then they reappear

Do you have any examples? I'm asking because every restricted area I've ever entered has notified me of it via an on-screen promt, plus the notification up next to the compass. Trespassing usually comes with its own music too, so that one is easy to figure out.

But, as MatthewHomer pointed out, just run into them and, after a second or two, they'll poof and allow you to pass before rematerializing. If that isn't possible for you, send a bug report to Warhorse!

Hm, that is strange, I've always been able to run through them regardless of where they were. I'd send a bug report to Warhorse if I were you so they can try to fix it.

most move after about 10 seconds just long enough to leave. but often start spinning around madly in narrow passageways and cannot find thier path. this happened ot Lord Divish. and other than the most hilarious thing I've ever seen it makes it difficult to get around the parpets he is supposed to be walking away from. this is really a problem with the guard room and the Executioner.
