So i also own this game on steam and i can play with my DS4, but the controller is not working on GOG? What gives? I bought it here to support the devs because i really like the game but this is something that bothers me because the xbox one controller works so why not DS4? Anyone here are playing with DS4?

from the original thread that we both posted in before you created this one. A majority of PC games that support controllers support Xbox controllers (specifically, the Xinput API). So Xbox controllers are basically plug-and-play.
