I am playing a short form game and it's been several years. I've done the Orlanth herquest to initiate forming a tribe and Einarth Milk-Eyes came to initiate the process of forming a tribe, but I said I would wait until my clan was stronger.

Going by what the manual says you only get 2 chances to start forming a tribe. So I'm wondering how long a time is there usually between the first chance and second chances? It's been long enough I'm thinking I may have accidentally missed the second chance somehow. Also is a visit from Einarth Milk-Eyes the only way to begin forming a tribe? It seems to be.

So if you fail tribe making twice what happens? Does an epic apocalypse descend on the clan? Or is it just kind of open ended and you just keep going through the seasons with random stuff happening but it never really goes anywhere? Will the game tell you when you fail?

If you decided to wait, you got to specify how long. Your saga won’t have the exact decision, but will have something to say.

There are one or two other situations that could prompt tribe formation, but they are unusual.

I forgot about the saga screen, I'll have to skim back through all the years. Out of curiosity though, if you fail the second tribe making or tell Einarth that you want to wait again do you lose the short game? Is there an event or something to tell you that you've failed? Or do you just have endless turning seasons into eternity but nothing much happens?

I don’t recall that the game can be called on account of time.
