I can start a game, but text is really badly aligned, to the point whole paragraphs aren't on-screen.

I've attached a screenshot of what I'm talking about.

I am running Windows 10.

Unfortunately the game is really wonky on newer systems. I'm not fully sure but according to this you have to change font size in windows itself to correct for this... kind of crazy, I know.
