Also, on the Reorganize Screen I noticed that some clan ring members say that they're "ready for a rest", does their being tired affect the game in any way?

Per the manual, you can’t. Though you really don't need to. (This applies to all versions.)

As ddunham says. However, you can often figure it out by what they say.

When you go to the Recruit Weaponthanes screen, your Warleader is whoever says the one of the following:

"We don't have enough weaponthnes to defend the clan."
"We should have enough weaponthanes for our basic defense."
"I'd hate to get rid of any, but we could probably survive with a few less weaponthanes."

The Lawspeaker is a bit harder to determine, but when events pop up it's usually the Lawspeaker who will tell you what precedents and customs apply.
