How do I create another army under the leadership of a different hero? I'm overrun with heroes but can't see how to assign an army to them - it would be so useful to send them off fighting the Fomorian marauders on my lands whilst I'm off solving quests, etc. :D

I'm sure I'm missing something but just can't see it and I can't find anything in the manual. If it's any help, I've just started Chapter 3 of the main campaign.

Thanks.

Hey Pajama, you're farther along in the main campaign then I am. I have had little time to play as of late, due to work...that, and I am also splitting playing time between this game, and Hegemony 3. I found this thread over on the Paradox forums. Apparently, you can't just "create" a new army by splitting up an existing one like you could in the first game, but are eventually given another army or two during the game....and according to that thread, you are approaching one of those times soon. That kind of sucks, because that was one of the elements I liked about the first KA game. Oh well..so far, still enjoying when I have time to get back into it.

Also, this

Thanks for the info, at least I now know that I'm not just missing something obvious! I've not played for the past few days but I did fire up the game last night and played a few more seasons and now have another army available which is part of the storyline as suggested in the links you provided.

Also it's good to know that when I get around to playing the first game I'll be able to create new armies to squash any incursions instead of having to race around the country doing it all myself :D

Yeah, I played yesterday for a little while again as well finally, and have ended up with a fourth hero, and a few extra units now just sitting in my reserves that I can't use. The game only allows you to have a maximum of 3 heroes per army, so I have a Knight sitting in reserves gaining no experience, so, no leveling up....and that kind of pisses me off, lol. As much as I am enjoying KA2, it does leave quite a bit to be desired compared to the original first game. Oh well, must soldier on right?
