Previous versions (1.0.4, 1.0.5) worked fine for me. I've downloaded 1.1 twice and seen the same message both times. Any ideas?

I'm getting that too. Also its a different size as reported, 585MB reported, 764MB actual.

Looks like its a corrupted master on GOG's servers.

Way to show the love to the Mac's guys.
I had the same issue. Guess I'll have to wait again. At least I can start out with some more updated mods then!
Post the MD5 checksums of your downloaded files. There could be a mismatch.
I have the same problem here!
The md5 of my "kerbal_space_program_2.6.0.9.dmg" is 26c2d41300593f2670ab80a7bafbb2b9
Perhaps Gog team have applied a patch to the game but doesn't update the signature checksum inside the app and for this security reason Os X doesn't run the program.
The same problem is in "Huniepop" a game for Mac that I have purchased here on the Gog website, but at today they haven't fix it...

Hi
I have resolved typing this command in my terminal window:
xattr -d com.apple.quarantine /Applications/Kerbal\ Space\ Program.app
Add me too! I downloaded 1.1 and get the file damaged error. Can anyone confirm Armoured's workaround is safe and effective?

I got this same error. Wound up using the GOG Galaxy downloader and it worked okay.
Read this: https://www.docear.org/faqs/os-x-shows-a-bad-signature-for-docear-what-can-i-do/
I went to my security settings and in the General tab I checked "Allow apps downloaded from: anywhere" and it worked
I tried sbeitzel's suggestion of using the GOG Galaxy app to download and it worked fine. Thanks, my friend!
Galaxy shouldn't be needed - you can also follow these steps from the troubleshooting guide:

- Go to Applications -> Terminal
- Type in:
xattr -d com.apple.quarantine
but don't press Enter.
- Drag the application to the Terminal window, this should add the path.
- Press Enter.
